On
July 11, 2007, Jessica was honored to receive
ESPN's ESPY Award for Best Female Athlete with
a Disability. Read Long

On
March 11, 2007, Jessica was presented with the
77th AAU James E. Sullivan Award for the nations
top amateur athlete. Read more at usolympicteam.com.
In early December 2006, Jessica won 9 gold medals
and set 5 world records at the World Swimming
Championships in South Africa. See her races at:

On
July 29, 2006, Jessica competed in the O&P
Extremity Games held in Orlando, Florida.
She finished 2nd in the rock climbing competition.

June 11, 2006, Jessica swam in the 1
Mile Chesapeake Challenge which was held in
Maryland's Chesapeake Bay near the Bay Bridge.
There were 317 starters with 310 finishers. Jessica
finished 9th overall and was the 3rd overall woman
with a time of 26:17. She was also the first 14
& under participant to cross the finish line.
